In addition to holding advanced degrees in both Counseling Psychology and Health Education, Albert is an experienced workshop facilitator, motivational speaker, martial arts instructor, and self-defense expert. Albert is also the author of several books, including: LEARNED WISDOM, THE BLISS of BEING, THE TAO of MASCULINITY book series, and THE FEMININE WARRIOR—all available at www.amazon.com. Albert is also credited with authoring, “On Location: Personal Safety Considerations and Suggestions” for THE COMPLETE FILM PRODUCTION HANDBOOK, Fourth Edition, by Eve Light Honthaner.
A former California State University instructor, Albert traveled extensively throughout the United States from 1987 through 2001 facilitating a variety of self-improvement workshops, seminars, and lectures for an array of organizations and businesses including numerous Fortune 500 companies. (Notable companies such as HBO, Sony Music, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Disney, E! Entertainment Television, Saatchi & Saatchi, and BBDO Advertising have all benefited from Albert’s services throughout the years.)
From 2000 through 2007, Albert provided employee assistance counseling for fashion giant GUESS, Inc. and created a company-wide employee meditation program at their corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.
From 2007 through 2013, Albert served as a consultant for Moonview Sanctuary—an exclusive outpatient treatment center based in Santa Monica, California—where he specialized in body/mind integration, addiction recovery, stress management, men’s work, meditation instruction, family and relationship counseling, and spiritual self-inquiry.
With decades of study in a variety of Eastern and Western healing and self-actualizing modalities and practices, Albert’s diverse background also includes mentoring at-risk and special needs children, owning and operating a martial arts studio for several years, and facilitating a myriad of personal development workshops for The Men’s Center of Los Angeles’ semi-annual retreat in Malibu, California.
